An Open Source electric car is powered by hydrogen fuel cells.

The company behind it is Riversimple, which created a non-profit Open Source Foundation called the 40 Fires Foundation that oversees the design and development of the car.

This time a group of 8-10 year olds conducted a research about how bumblbees see colors and patters, and they have written a report about it that was recently published by the prestigious scientific publication, the Biology Letters, a peer-reviewed journal of Britain's Royal Society.

INNOVATION DISTINGUISHES BETWEEN A LEADER AND A FOLLOWER.”

-STEVE JOBS

The best way to predict the future is to create it

If you don’t invest in the future and don’t plan for the future, there won’t be one.—

George Buckley, chairman, president, and CEO of 3M

What is innovation?

Innovation—taking something established and introducing a new idea, method or device that creates a new dimension of performance.

Innovation adds value.

What’s innovation got to do with community development?

A culture of innovation provides the foundation so that people can turn ideas into results and improve communities. Innovation can be found in all industries, fields, locations and communities—not just in business, technology, engineering or the physical sciences.

Just saw info about Start-up Chile

This is really cool idea!

Start-Up Chile is a program of the Chilean Government, created by the Ministry of Economy, executed by CORFO via InnovaChile, that seeks to attract foreign, high-potential entrepreneurs to come to Chile to bootstrap their businesses with the end goal of converting Chile into the innovation and entrepreneurial hub of Latin America. This is a general mission of the recently inaugurated government and is the primary focus of the Ministry of Economy.

In 2010, the program has brought 25 teams from all corners of the world and has provided them a $40,000 subsidy (no equity) to participate for six months, and a temporary 1-year visa to develop their projects along with access to the most potent social and capital networks in the country.
